2006 Taste of Vail
2006 Taste of Vail Dates Announced for April 5-8, 2006
Vail’s renowned culinary festival, Tastes of Vail will be taking place April 5 - 8, 2006. celebrating it’s 16th year.
This year the event expects to draw more than 6,000 attendees and volunteers. The Apres-Ski Tasting, the Mountain Top Picnic, the Chocolate Seminar, the Cocktail "Mix Off" and the Grand Tasting highlight this celebration of food and wine.
The Mountain Top Picnic is the festival’s signature event (April 7) and is held at 10,350 feet at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola. You may want to get your tickets early for this one.
In the past 15 years, the festival has contributed more than $300,000 to Vail Valley Charities (Including a $13,000 donation to Katrin Relief in 2005).
