A Beaver Creek Powder Day
The amenity and natural beauty of Beaver Creek after a snowstorm
There’s nothing like a powder day at Beaver Creek Resort. With the on-mountain amenities and boot deep fresh snow, there is very little not to enjoy.
As a busy real estate professional in the Vail Valley and father of three, I don’t get up the hill as much as I used to. However, with almost a foot of fresh snow, yesterday was too good to pass up.
After easily finding space in skier parking at Arrowhead, we made our way up the mountain. I was immediately impressed by the new on-mountain improvements. The new signage connecting the base areas of Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead was very pronounced and informative without seeming out of place; the new Bachelor Gulch lift whisks you to the top of Strawberry Park in Bever Creek making the interconnects much more efficient; and once again enjoying the experience of the rustically luxurious Zach’s Cabin, one of the on-mountain dining facilities where you exchange your ski boots for slippers at the door should not be missed.
The fresh powder alone is enough to get most of us excited but when coupled with the fabulous improvements the ski company has made to the mountain, the Beaver Creek ski experience is truely over the top.
