AFC Championship Game in Denver

Locals scramble to get tickets

What a year so far!!!  The Vail Valley is witnessing one of its best ski seasons ever AND the Denver Broncos are hosting the AFC Championship Game at Invesco Field.  Locals are scrambling to find one of the hardest tickets to get ever in Denver.  Prices of these tickets are already topping $1000 on eBay!

The usual progression of cars heading to Vail and Beaver Creek may be replaced by hundreds heading East to Denver.  Many Denverites will skip this weekend of fantastic skiing, and forego the drive, instead opting for recliners and barstools with their new flat screen TV’s.  Non football fans will likely see a less crowded mountain on which to make fast turns or find hidden stashes of glorious powder.

The ski mountains will likely get added exposure with the national TV audience tuned into the game.  Win or lose, Colorado and Denver will come out ahead with increased sales at Mile High and across the city.  So either at the game, in front of the TV, or on the slopes, sports fans have a big weekend coming up.  Anyone have tickets??
