Tennis Program

The Arrowhead at Vail homeowners association built a tennis comples with four clay courts five years ago.  Today these are the best in the Valley.  Under the direction of Pete Ploog, a 19 year teaching pro, the courts are pure and smooth.  Peter the former #1 player at Colorado State University not only teaches but supervises the Ladies, Mens’ and children programs.  Private lessons are available but must be made in advance.  The courts are a short walk from the village area and have an area for BBQ’s and parties with rest areas and instructors office.  This is only a part of the Arrowhead community which has the number 5 ranked golf course in the state, a Nicklaus Signature course.  Private fly fishing on the Eagle River is also a regular activity.  Looking for a game call the Arrowhead Association and they will be pleased to set one up.  If you’re looking for a ski property, golf property or just a fun place to vacation give local resident and realtor Steve Morris a call at 970-926-6777 or email him with any requests at steve@gatewayland.com
