August 2005 Vail Real Estate Statistics
Once again sales in Vail are up with 115% growth
Not only was August’s total sales volume of $233,778,200 the 4th most in Eagle County history; it also had the 5th most transactions with 338. This brings the years total volume to $1,672,543,802, which is $383,749,202 higher than last years record setting year through the same time period. So far through 2005, Eagle County is averaging $209,067,975 in sales volume and 313 transactions each month, which one-year ago would have been the best month ever in itself!
Eagle and Gypsum continue to have the majority of all sales in August assuming 28.71% of the market with 97 of 338 transactions. While Beaver Creek obtains the highest average price for areas with more than one transaction at $2,731,136.
