Ski-in/Ski-Out Properties Always A Hot Item

The gated community of Bachelor Gulch continues to see strong residential real estate sales.  Connected to both Beaver Creek and Arrowhead ski areas, Bachelor Gulch and its 5-star anchor, the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, consistently draw buyers and skiers to this wonderful ski-in/ski-out neighborhood.

Since February 2, 2007, there have been 12 sales, (blog written on 3/23/07) with a median price of about $3.5M.  There are currently 18 properties under contract (including 8 Ritz Residential Suites; this amazing hotel is soon to be the home of Wolgang Puck’s Spago restaurant!)  And there are 31 condos, townhomes and residences currently on the market.  Relative prices ranged from $800/sf up to about $1300/sf.  Obviously, there are some good opportunities for the savvy buyer.
