Beaver Creek Landing (Bldg. B) Almost Sells Out

24 of 26 Units Sell In One Day

On October 6, 2005, the remaining building of the Beaver Creek Landing project was sold via lottery.  24 out of 26 units sold that night, and the 2 units that did not sell are still available.  Approximately 50 buyers put contracts into the lottery, with some individual units having over 15 offers.

The lottery process is a frustrating one, especially if your clients do not get a condominium at the end of the day.  The units that did not sell were B101 and B201, priced at $1.486 million and $1.54 million for 1924 sq. ft. respectively.  Both have easterly views, but are priced on the higher side relative to the others.

It remains to be seen how many units were purchased for future use and how many for speculation.  The project is slated for completion in the spring of ‘07, so I guess we’ll find out then.  (these units are not presently in the MLS system.)  To view the available properties in  Beaver Creek or the entire Vail Valley, check out www.vailpropertysearch.com
