Buying Opportunities Available When Looking In the Right Places

Beaver Creek real estate sales have been going through the roof lately.  But don’t be fooled.  The bulk of the sales have been from high profile projects that have been under contract for quite some time. (think Village Walk and Beaver Creek Landing)  Just look at Beaver Creek Landing: there are currently 23 units on the market for RE-SALE, these units have already been sold.  This project was priced very well initially,  approximately $500-800/sf.  These same units are now being listed in the high $800’s/sf up to $1300/sf!

The real buying opportunities lie in several of the older projects in Beaver Creek Village.  If you are willing to have some work done to update some of these older condos, you’ll find yourself in a better location for less $ than some of these new constructions.

Inventories have risen; 119 total MLS listings in Beaver Creek, with 18 over $5 million.  The market has shifted back to the buyer in certain segments, even if the sales numbers in Beaver Creek would imply otherwise.  The opportunities are there if you know where to look!
