Bellyache Homeowners Vote No on Water and Sewer

Bellyache Ridge is 15 min. from Edwards, yet feels miles away from the tumult of  a busy town. Situated on top of Belleyache Mountain, an enclave of homeowners recently voted No on assuming more debt to use Red Sky Ranch’s water and sewer system.  They have their own Metro water system and septic tanks that function just fine, so they say  (The votes were:  51 against the proposal to have city water and sewer and 9 in favor).

This high Alpine development has some of the most magnificent views of the mountains and valley.  Currently, there are 10 homes for sale on Belleyache Ridge, ranging in price from $699,000 to $6,500,000.  Many of the homes are log, however, there are a few contemporary, and even a Tuscan design all situated on private parcels  between 1.5 Acres and 35 Acres.  They range in size from 2,000 to about 7,000 Sq. Feet. 

At the present time there are 5 lots available, ranging in price from $400,000 for 1.9 Acre with magnificent views, a few 10 acre parcels for around $600,000 and a 35 Acre parcel for $996,000.

Bellyache homeowners drive past the two golf courses and lovely homes at Red Sky Ranch as they head up the mountain to their private homes.  The Bellyache owners do have the option to become a member of the Red Sky Ranch Golf Club, so perhaps they have the best of both worlds -A rural setting with great views, yet easy access to Red Sky Golf, tennis, private Club and great Restaurant.
