Bike Trail will link Eagle and Gypsum

Road Bikers will love this Bike Path

ECO Trails Committe will pick a builder to work on a 2.7 mile bike path connecting the town of Eagle to the town of Gypsum.  The path will be separated from Highway 6 and be very direct. The trail will be great for all ages and sport enthusiasts, bikers, joggers, rollerbladers and strollers.

It is just another reason why living down valley in either Gypsum or Eagle is a family experience.  The path will enable residents to bike and walk to community pools, public golf, athletic events, and even the movies.  Work is expected to be completed by December, depending on weather and asphalt availability.  In addition, the Colorado Department of Transportaiton is allocating money to create bike trails on both shoulders of Highway 6 to make biking on the road safer.
