The West End Edwards backs to the Eagle River Preserve trailsThe Vail Valley Foundation and Eagle County are inviting the public to view the progress of Phase I of the Eagle River Preserve.  Two Public Open Houses and Walking Tours are being hosted by the Eagle River Preserve Community Committee.

Join in on the walking tour on Monday, September 22 or 29th fron 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and view the 72 acres of open space and trails to the Eagle River.

Free Ice Cream for everyone following the guided tour at 6:00 P.M.

The West End will bring an urban feel to the mountains with nature, sports and the arts at your doorstep.  There will be more shopping, dining and music in Edwards. 

A 1.5% Transfer Tax on all market rate homes sold will go to a non-profit organization to be used for more affordable housing in Eagle County.  In addition, there will be a 0.5% sales tax, which will go toward bike and walking trails in Edwards.
