February 21st, 2009 Teri Lester Posted in Manor Vail, Vail Comments Off

Manor Vail condominiums have spectacular views of Vail Mountain, Gore Creek and the Gore Mountain Range.  There has been extensive expansion and new features added to the Manor Vail interiors and exteriors.   An underground parking structure with ski storage, a new pool, two new hot tubs, and elevator service are just a few of the new features.

The number 13, may be your lucky number!  There are 13 of the Original studio, one and two bedroom condominiums available, and several have had huge price reductions, bringing them down under $1Million.  In addition, there are 9 New 2, 3 and 4 bedroom condonminiums with spectacular mountain views.

Manor Vail Penhouse Condominiums offer 180 Degree Views and amazing interior finishes.  You can enjoy concierge services, saunas, exercise room, heated outdoor pools, and the on site Lord  Gore Restaurant.  Manor Vail is convenient to the Children’s Ski School, Vail Village shopping, the Ford Amphitheater, and the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens.  Take advantage of the slow economy and take some time to view some of the available properties at Manor Vail,  perhaps even stay.  See if you enjoy watching some Vail ski and snowboard competition while sitting on your deck or while soaking in one of the new hot tubs or pools.

Manor Vail Parking Spaces for Sale in Vail, Colorado

January 14th, 2009 Teri Lester Posted in Manor Vail, Vail, Vail Parking 1 Comment »

Manor Vail Condominiums at the base of the Golden Peak chair lift on Vail mountain, have 23 underground, heated parking spaces available for sale.  The 23 deeded parking spaces will go on sale January 26, 2009, and sell for $225,000.  While the price tag is steep, $1,300 a square foot, it is a great value compared to the Vail Founders Garage spaces selling between $380,000 and $500,000.  These spaces are part of the Manor Vail Condominium complex, just steps to the Riva Bahn chairlift and children’s ski school.

Manor Vail property owners had the first chance to buy the parking spots, which were built as part of a recently completed redevelopemnt of the condominium.  Owners also have thier own separate deed-restricted spots in the 120-spot underground garage.  These spaces are conveniently located to the Ford Amphitheater, Betty Ford Gardens, and Vail Village.

Vail Real Estate Sales Surpass $2 Billion

January 5th, 2009 John Nichols Posted in Avon, Manor Vail, Vail, Vail Valley trends and statistics, Westin Riverfront, vail property Comments Off

The sales numbers are in for November of ‘08 and according to Trevor Theelke of Land Title, this is the 5th straight year real estate sales have surpassed $2billion.

Below are comments from Theelke on November’s numbers:

There were three main factors in November that contributed to the $174,144,400 in sales volume over 120 transactions.

  1.  There were 9 sales over $4 million of which 7 were $8 million or more. The highest sale was in the Lodge at Vail for $12,950,000.
  2. Manor Vail had 5 sales totaling $29,618,200. This represents an average price per square foot of $2,287.
  3. The Westin Riverfront had 33 sales totaling $27,632,700, an average of $1,042 per square foot.
  4.  Real estate transactions through November number 1,504, totaling $2,009,768,600, which is just 27% off last year’s record breaking year. Nearly 30% of the total dollar volume has come from the high end sales in Vail Village and Lionshead while the majority of the transactions, approximately 14%, have come from Eagle. Avon has accounted for just over 10% of all transactions thus far through 2008.

November Highlights:

  • Vail Village had an average sales price of $5,989,157, the highest in Eagle County
  • Avon had the most transactions, 34, of which 33 were sales at The Westin Riverfront
  • Multi-family homes sold for an average price of $1,903,773.
  • Single family homes sold for an average of $1,299,753.
