Population moves West

The real estate boom in the Vail Valley has shown no signs of slowing down and March brought another record month of the highest average sales price in the valley’s history. The chance to buy a reasonably priced home is being overshadowed by the continued increase in home prices in once reasonably priced areas such as Edwards. Therefore the trend for homes under the half million dollar mark has moved West, and Cotton Ranch in Gypsum as well as the Bluffs in Eagle and Chatfield Corners in Gypsum are the only places left to find a home that new families can afford.

Gateway Land and Development plans to open a sales office in the Gypsum area soon with all the activity that has been announced, and we hope to offer duplexes at Cotton Ranch soon that will be under the half million dollar mark.
