Raise your steins and toast the 2007 Vail Oktoberfest, the weekends of September 7-9 and 14-16.  Enjoy two full weekends of oom pah parties, bratwurst, German beers and traditional dance demonstrations in Lionshead and Vail Village.  Vail Farmers Market and Art Show is much more than a farmers’ market.  The Vail Farmers market is a terrific weekly festival held on Sundays with fresh Colorado farm and gourmet food products, multiple live entertainment venues, delicious snacks and local arts and crafts.  There are over 100 tents and is the largest farmer’s market in Colorado.  The parking is free.  The Vail Farmers Market runs through September 16, 2007.  The Evergold 10K Trail Race is scheduled for September 9, 2007.  This seenic 10K race is part of Colorado’s premier trail running series.
