Homestead is a great neighborhood.  I know this because I live here.  And currently there are many opportunities for good values.  Whether it is an entry level condo, or a custom single family home, this Edwards neighborhood has it all.

There are currently 23 single family or duplex homes listed on the Vail Board of Realtors MLS, as well as 14 condominiums or townhomes.  Prices range from $439K for a townhome in lower Homestead (LoHo) to $3.175 million for a stunning single family residence at the top of Homestead.  (HiHo)  Compared to other neighborhoods in the Vail Valley, the relative prices in Homestead (the price/sf) are significantly lower and represent a great value.  The majority of properties are listed around the $300/SF level.

For example, Terrace Ridge Townhome Unit 1B is now listed at $549,900 for 3 bedrooms/3.5 baths + a large office with built-ins, high ceilings, new carpet, a 1 car garage, and plenty of storage, with a price per foot of $277/SF (per county)  And 49 Andover Trail is now listed at $895,000  ($297/SF per county) for a great (MidHo) duplex with 3 bedrooms/3.5 bathrooms, an end of the cul-de-sac location, lofted ceilings, an upper level master suite, multiple decks, and a large 2 car garage.
