October 2009 National Home Sales Rise 3.7%

October 2009 pending home sales have risen 3.7% from September according to the National Association of Realtors. This seasonally adjusted index of sales agreement rose to 114.1 which is the highest reading since March 2006. This is also 32% above a year ago, the largest annual increase ever for the index!
