Paid Parking Starts November 16

Parking Pass Sales begin November 8

There is no need to pay full price for parking in Vail for the 2007-2008 winter season.  The Town of Vail will offer seven parking pass options with significant savings over the standard daily rate.  The parking rates range from as low as $7 per day for qualifying value card holders to $20 for the day for visitors and guests.  The majority of the passes go on sale November 8 and will be available for purchase throughout the winter from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday on the lower level of the Vail Municipal Building, 75 S. Frontage Road. The town will continue to set aside spaces for short term parking in both structures for $5 for up to 2.5 hours.  The satellite lots at Ford Park and the soccer field east of Golden Peak will become permit parking areas for employees.  To coincide with the start of paid parking, Vail Transit will increase bus service on selected outlying routes.  To check out all the pass options and prices visit:  www.vailgov.com
