Vail Conference Center Decision Moves Closer

Vail Conference Center's fate relies on November 8, 2005 vote to increase lodging tax

The decision to build the Vail Conference Center in Lionshead could be determined by a November 8, 2005 vote where the citizens will decide on a increased lodging tax to help fund the estimated 65 million dollar center.

A vote to increase this tax would pave the way to approving the structure.  If the tax increase is not approved, funding for the conference center would not be available.
