Eagle County Radon Statistics

Is Radon Testing an important consideration for your Vail Valley Property?

2003 & 2004 Radon Test Results
I’m often asked how much of an issue radon gas presents here in Eagle County, and if a home should be tested if located in a certain area of the valley. In 2003 & 2004, I tested 265 properties in which 123 (46%) of the tests failed at 4.0pCi/L or above, and EPA guidelines recommended mitigation. For your convenience, I’ve also listed the results by cities and specific housing regions/subdivisions.
