Four Seasons breaks ground in Vail on $200 million luxury hotel and condominium project that will have 120 hotel rooms, 16 condos, and 19 time shares

Developers broke ground Monday, December 12 on the $200 million Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail.  The first Four Seasons in Colorado will have 120 hotel rooms, 16 condos and 19 time shares and should be completed in 2008.  The resort will be located on 2.7 acres that used to house the old Chateau at Vail.

Sales of the condos and time shares will begin in January, 2006.  Time shares will be sold in 1/12th interests.  The condos will be 1- to 5- bedrooms, 1,650 - 5,800 square feet.  Time shares will be 2- to 4- bedrooms, 1,830 to 3,450 square feet.  Prices are to be determined.

The resort will include a bar and restaurant, a library, a spa and fitness center, a business center and conference rooms.
