Vail Resorts hires new CEO who announces he will be moving corporate headquarters to Denver.

Vail Resorts announced today the hiring of Robert Katz to the post of Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Katz immediately announced he would be moving the corporate headquarters to Denver.  "Moving our headquarters operations to the Denver area will facilitate lower occupancy rates, provide greater administrative efficiencies, enhance recruiting opportunities, and allow more centralized access to all of the Company’s properties," Mr. Katz said.  He also stated, "It better positions the Company for future strategic growth. 

The move is expected to effect 100 executives, managerial and staff positions.
