Snow Piling Up in Vail for the Thanksgiving Holiday

As I write this blog there is a raging blizzard occuring outside.  It is snowing so hard I cannot see the parking lot outside my window.  To quote WC Fields, "its snowing so hard I can't tell if it is new snow coming down or old snow blowing up".  In fact a neighbor of mine just called to see if I knew how to locate the owner (currently in Florida)of the home next door as a tree had blown over on the home breaking several windows.

With upwards to two feet of snow forcast and at least 2 feet on the mountain from earlier storms, it looks like another stellar opening on Vail Mountain.  The weather man calls for more snow later in the week.  If this keeps up, I may have to find my gear and make a few runs this weekend.
