Ice Skating Family Fun in Vail and Beaver Creek

Looking for something fun to do in Vail and Beaver Creek besides skiing and snowboarding. The Vail Valley offers several venues for those who would like to get out on the ice and skate. What a great family activity for all ages and for all realms of ability levels. If you prefer to be indoors then try Vail’s Dobson Ice Arena located on the bus route in the Lionshead area right across from Vail’s beautiful Library. Call 970-479-2270 for public skating hours and events schedule. They even have drop in hockey for those who want to slap the puck around.

If you are more the outdoor type because you’re here on vacation and you want to enjoy our awesome mountain views and wonderful winter environment then check out either ice skating on Lake Nottingham in Avon or the ice skating rink in Beaver Creek. For Avon, call the Log Cabin at 970-2500 and for Beaver Creek call 970-845-2500.
