Two Grand Entry Ways to Access Vail Mountain

Millions Invested in the Redevelopment of East and West Vail

The hot topic of discussion at Vail's last council meeting was the new development of the Lionshead Parking Structure.  Both investors felt it was critial to create a second grand entry to Vail.  With development plans for the Ritz-Carlton, west of Lionshead, this only makes sense for guests to feel threre is easy skier access to the mountain, great restaurants, adequate shopping and family activities at both ends of the mountain.

Over a Billion Dollars are being spent on these new developments and renovations of exisiting buildings, with more to come!  Here is how it breaks down:

Yes, Vail will never look like the quaint Village it was ever again.  To maintain the status of being the Number 1 Mountain Resort requires change.  Vail will have something for everyone, even the locals.  Why Harry Frampton says he will offer locals membership to the new spa he will build in the new Lionshead structure, that is if his company is awarded the contract.  We can also skate on the two new public ice rinks, bowl, see movies, and dine in the fine restaurants.

Vail will feel like a brand new town, high-end with exceptional skiing and there will be no other town like it in America.  Those who opposed the growth on the basis that it will loose its European and old appeal will see, the tourists will enjoy the change and the locals will profit.
