Habitat for Humanity offers 16 new Homes in Edwards
Fox Hollow - Habitat for Humanity New Project in Edwards

Habitat for Humanity, of Eagle and Lake County was joined by County Commissioners and Habitat representatives to break ground on Fox Hollow, an affordable housing project in Edwards, Colorado. Eagle County granted Habitat for Humanity $500,000 toward construction of 16 new homes over the next 84 months.
The homes will be sold to local families in need who earn between 25 and 60 percent of the area median income. Qaulifying homeowners will be required to contribute 250 hours per adult of sweat equity into building their future home. Often, future owners are so excited to have a home they put in far more than the required 250 hours. The families take personal pride in homeownership and feel they are living the American Dream.
Habitat for Humanity expects to receive an average of 10 applicants for every available home.
Gateway Land and Development has committed to work on these homes on a regular basis. For more information on qualifying for home ownership, applications, or volunteering to help build these 16 homes, go to www.habitateaglelake.org
