2005 Vail Real Estate sales once again surpass 2004 totals

Vail’s January real estate sales have surpassed numbers from January of 2004 by 111%. More impressively, January 2004 was up from 2003 159%. 2004 was ear-marked as the year in which the largest volume and number of units sold in the history of Vail real estate ($2.225 billion in total sales). Based upon January’s sales volume and the brisk activity we are seeing this ski season, I expect to see 2005 coming close to or eclipsing these record totals.
