Celebrate Bravo's 21st Season in Vail 
Music under the stars is one of the reasons summer is so spectacular in Vail. This year John Giovando, Executive Director and Eugenia Zukerman, Artistic Director are bringing a wonderful lineup of artists to Vail: The Columbus Jazz Orchestra, The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The New York Philharmonic Orchestra and wonderful Chamber Music. The season will include music from Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Mosart, Rachmaninoff, Strauss, Stravinsky,and Tchaikovsky, among others. 
The Bravo Music Festival Season starts June 25 with sounds of New Orleans Jazz. Enjoy the Festival's salute to freedom with the Rochester Philharmonic on July 4. Pack a picnic and settle down on a blanket on the lawn for a family concert presented by the National Repertory Orchestra and the Colorado Children's Chorale and the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra Chorus. 
The spectacular New York Philharmonic Orchestra returns to the Festival for its sixth year. Alan Gilbert, the newly appointed successor to Lorin Maazel, and legendary pianist Lang Lang will open the first performance on July 18. There will be six performances, including two with Lorin Maazel, current Music Director. If you love piano, the world renowned pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet performs July 22 at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek. Bravo brings harps, winds and strings by Debussy, Ravel, and Tchaikovsky to the Vail Mountain School on July 31st. Club Bravo passes are on sale now for $135 and includes general admission lawn seating to every Bravo amphitheater performance plus one free concert on July 15 at the Vilar Center. If you are a young professional 21-49 you can get a Bach on the Rocks pass which offers lawn seating and events throughout the Bravo season. Both of these passes can be purchased for $135 if you order by June 2, 2008. New for 2008 is a Teen Pass for $39 for ages 13-20, valid for lawn seating at all Bravo amphitheater concerts. The Complete Classic Pass for reserved regular or premium seats for every classical orchestra performance are available for $573 or $764. The Amphitheater Subscription Series for all 18 Bravo performances is $923 or Regular reserved and $1226 for Premium reserved seats.
