Avon's New Transporation Center

The Town of Avon will be opening the Avon Station,

it’s new transporation center, on Tuesday, November 27th at 12:30 p.m.  This is Avon’s first step in becoming a more pedestrian-friendly, eco-oriented community.  The Avon Station has a 450 square foot enclosed shelter and its location is strategic to the town center core.  It is within a five-minute walk of the Avon Recreation Center, the Avon Library, Eagle Valley Core Trail and nearly every hotel in Avon.  It is also only 400 feet walking distance to the new Riverfront Gondola, which offers direct access to skiing at Beaver Creek.  The Avon Station is a key part of Avon’s long-term efforts to create a vibrant, well-connected town center with pedestrian-friendly access.
