Update on Ritz-Carlton Residences located in Lionshead

The most recent information coming from Vail Resorts regarding the timing for the release of the Ritz-Carlton Resdiences looks to be later this summer.  This new property to be built along with a high speed quad chair to service skiers for Vail Mountain will be built on the west side of Lionshead and the existing Marriot.  The Vail frontage road will be moved to accomodate this new property.  The Ritz in Lionshead will add significantly to the availability of Vail Real Estate luxury ski residences with 108 units planned.

The sales process could still occur as early as March, 2006 or as late as July, 2006 and is now expected to be an "auction lottery"; we will publish more details as they are made available.  You can read about the building amenities and individual residences here.
