Real Estate Sales Set Record for 2005

$2.8 billion sold in 2005

The 2005 year in real estate shattered 2004’s record of $2.2 billion.  At $2.8 billion sold, real estate continues to boom in every sector of the market.

Downvalley, the market has been exploding, with locals and second home owners alike preferring the lower prices and larger homes with acreage.  Eagle had the most transactions at 646.  Beaver Creek had the largest total sales volume at $311 million.

As the population in the Vail Valley grows and second home owners become permanent residents, real estate continues to push further west and the market continues to flourish.
