Red Sky Ranch’s Member-Guest tournament, The Trailblazer, was a huge succes this past weekend in Wolcott, Colorado.  Golfers from all over the country vied for the championship and enjoyed the Colorado splendor that is Red Sky Ranch.

As mentioned in the article below (see Related Articles), the author competed once again in this fun and exciting tournament.  We played 5 nine hole matches, winning each of them and compiling enough points to win our flight!!  By winning our flight, we advanced to the Shoot-Out, a 3 hole event with the top three scoring teams (of the twelve teams in the Shoot Out) advancing to the final.  This is where the proverbial wheels fell off and, unfortunately, we did not advance.  We truly enjoyed our golf experience, but sure wish we could have played better at the end.  Oh well, that’s why golf is a four lettered word.

The author and his golfing partner drowned their sorrows with a few beers and decided fly fishing would put a smile back on their faces.  And it sure did!
