The redevelopment of Lionshead is well under way as the they prepare to start foundation walls

Walked the Arrabelle site in Lionshead today and the size of the project would even impress Donald Trump.

Based upon my estimates, the building and plaza amass about four city blocks and the hole must be 70 feet deep or more in places.  Vail Resorts has put plexi-glass windows along the construction wall boardwalk so you can see all that is going on.  It’s pretty cool and worth a stroll.

Quite an impressive Vail real estate developement for the lesser favored base area, Lionshead.  It wouldn’t suprise me if Lionshead became as popular as Vail Village in the near future.
