Showtime in the Vail Mountains

Concerts over the Holidays

Just as Vail and Beaver Creek provide the very best in entertainment during our magnificent summers, so also does the Valley come alive again over the Christmas Holidays. Certainly the most active venue is the Vilar Center in Beaver Creek and this year is no different. Starting tonight, Monday, the New Sigmund Romberg Orchestra will perform a Viennese Christmas. Conductor Jason Altieri will present Little Drummer Boy, Babes in Toyland and many other Holiday favorites but will also include a number of Viennese pieces such as Die Fledermaus Overture. Later this week on Friday, the 21st, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens will be presented at 4 and 8 pm. A the next week will see a visit by the Lettermen on Sunday, the 23rd, singing their trademark harmonic blend versions of Winter Wonderland and Sleigh Ride.

Also playing at Beaver Creek in the Chapel will be Pat Hamilton and Peter Vavra who have put on this well known concert for 20 years. They bring the true meaning of Christmas into the hearts of all who attend, and the proceeds will go to the Salvation Army’s Adopt a Family program.

Enjoy and appreciate the Holiday Season in Vail and please stop by our offices in Edwards when it comes time to look for a vacation home or you are ready to settle into a permanent home here. Calll Judd Babcock at 970-376-3230.
