Ski-in ski-out condominiums available for sale are at an all time low leading to hyper-appreciation in all Vail Valley village areas

If you are looking for a ski-in ski-out condominium in Colorado, you are not alone. The Vail Valley is experiencing an all-time record low number of ski-in ski-out condominiums currently listed for sale as real estate prices for these coveted properties continue to soar.

As of today, the Vail Board of Realtors Multiple Listing System (MLS) reported two, two bedroom condominiums available for sale in Vail Village with asking prices both in the nine hundred thousand dollar range. This is nearly two hundred thousand more than the most recent sales of similar condominiums.

In Lionshead, the story is much the same with only two, two bedrooms available for sale. Two weekends ago, a more rare 1700 square foot four bedroom was listed for two million dollars. Within forty-eight hours, there were five offers on the property, two for over full price. It is rumored that the property was contracted for more than twelve hundred dollars per square foot.

Currently, there are zero two bedroom condominiums listed for sale in Beaver Creek, where Arrowhead has five two bedrooms listed, all $150,000 over the last several sales of similar condominiums. Same time last year, there were over thirty properties listed in these areas.

Another one to watch will be a four bedroom at Villa Montaine in Beaver Creek that was just listed for $2,395,000. The last two sales of identical units in the building went for $1,750,000.
