Vail will replace one of the few remaining two-seater chairlifts

Vail Resorts announced that it will be replacing the archaic Chair 10, also known as the Highline Chair, this spring with a high speed quad.  The current Chair 10 ride is a slow, cold 14 minutes.  The new quad ride will be a quick 6 1/2 minutes.  The chair serves the expert area of Blue Ox, Rogers Run and Highline.  Vail Resorts also announced the realignment of Chair 14 for easier access to Two Elk Restaurant, the Back Bowls and Blue Sky Basin.
