The Time to Buy is Now!

With the temperatures dropping, the leaves turning yellow, and the snow falling, winter appears to be right around the corner in the Vail Valley.  Of course, we see this to some degree every year. . .summer is too short, fall barely happened, and now the snow is covering the Gore Range.  Fortunately, we all love to ski, snowboard or just get out and play in this winter wonderland we call home!  And I’m sure we’ll still have some great fall days in the VERY near future.  (It’s only September 21st!)

Many locals look to buy or sell real estate in the shoulder months (May, June, October, November) and this year is shaping up to be no different.  With inventories at a year long high, the near term market is favoring buyers.  Many sellers have already reduced the asking price for their homes and condos.  NOW is the time to seek out the best buys on the market, before the winter activities bring more people.
