Vail Real Estate Sales in July break yet another record
Sales Volume in July Breaks Record
July 2004 was the start of a record setting 12 months for real estate in Eagle County with Beaver Creek property sales representing the highest volume both percentage wise and dollor wise of all areas in the Valley. The Beav had nine sales totalling $29,270,000.00 which represents 13.44% of the Valley’s volume for the month of July. The average sales price of homes was $3,252,000.00 another all time record. Vail Village had sales totalling $21,345,000.00, but that represented 14 sales for an average price of $1.5 million. Total real estate sales for all of Eagle County were $217,831,000 for the month compared to $188 million in 2004 and $103,756,000 in 2003. The trends for investing in Vail real estate, no matter which area, have continued to rise over the past twelve months, much to the joy of many local and out of state investors. However, it is not just the "big ticket" homes that are enjoying such an increase. In Edwards, Eagle, and Gypsum volume was $19 million, $13 million, and $14 million respectively. It has been a big year for real estate and Gateway continues to be one of the leading brokerage firms in helping their customers find the right property in a very tight market.
