Inspired by the undulating terrain and postcard setting, The Mountain Course is simply exhilarating. Capturing the feel of the landscape was especially important to Hale Irwin, a native Coloradoan. The three-time U.S. Open champion was committed to preserving the area’s inherent natural qualities while creating an extraordinary course. Formerly a working ranch, the land spans ridges, meadows, and forests, which bring into play a variety of challenges. According to Irwin, "I think the real fun part, personally, is to play this golf course again and again. Mountain golf has been redefined with this golf course."

The Par 72 course is open from April to September and open to Cordillera Members and Lodge Guests.

The homes around this gorgeous course are built by individual developers and mostly designed to maximize the fantastic mountain views and increduble alpine landscape.
