Vail Valley Moratorium
Buy now before real estate prices head through the roof
On October 4, 2005 our County Commissioners will vote in a "temporary moratorium" on all new developments and all zoning changes that would result in more residential dwelling units.
This moratorium will in all likelyhood pass without much fanfare as the Resolution sounds like the right thing to do. After all we have all the homes and commercial space we need and we don’t want things to get crowded around here. Besides, if the supply of homes is going to be limited, doesn’t that mean the price of my home or vacant lot will increase substantially? Answer: Yes.
If you have been thinking of buying real estate in the Vail Valley but have been wondering about the "bubble", wonder no more.
With 72 million baby boomers coming through the pipeline looking for desirable places to live, such as the Vail Valley, buy now because this market is about to get real tight for product which will drive prices into the stratosphere.
