Vail's Golden Peak is up and running for t he season

As I came in this morning I could see the U.S. Ski Team and Ski and Snowboard Club Vail making turns on Golden Peak. The Winter is here! Chair 6 (The Riva Bahn) is now running for our different ski teams.....

But there is snow on the resta of the mountain too....as I was walking down the street I ran into an old friend and he said he hiked up to the top of Riva Ridge and said there was nearly 20 inches of snow there.
