Voters say YES to Crossroads New Development
Solaris wins with 70% of voters in favor
The Crossroads proposal was submitted to the Town of Vail 23 months ago. The Vail Town Concil approved the project by a 4-3 vote in March, 2006, however it was brought before the voters with the referendum process on July 11.
The people who live in Vail have spoken for the new complex, which will include 69 condos, a 3-screen movie theater, a 10 lane bowling alley, ice rink and public plaza, stores and restaurants. It will bring energy to Vail and create positive family experiences within the Town. Peter Knobel, developer, is committed to build a great project for everyone to enjoy. In addition, he has pledged $4 Million to street improvements, $1.1 Million to public art, and public restrooms.
Congratulations to the team who helped educate the public and get this referendum passed.
